A national standard
The National Scholastic Musicians Awards serve as the official recognition of a high school performing arts student's fulfillment of the requirements for one or all four proficiency divisions per instrumental and/or vocal discipline. These prestigious awards encompass the music disciplines of band, orchestra, and choir, each featuring four proficiency divisions with specific criteria. The attainment of these divisions results in distinguished honors, including the National Scholastic Band Letter, National Scholastic Acclaimed Musician Award, National Scholastic Ovation Performers Award, and the National Scholastic Hall of Fame Artist Award.
Students who achieve any or all of these accolades join an esteemed community of peers distinguished for their musical excellence. Each proficiency level earned offers varying levels of national recognition, along with press release material for dissemination across news and social media platforms. Additionally, recipients have the opportunity to progress through the award levels until all four levels have been attained. At each level, recipients receive a complimentary subscription to Accoladi.com, are featured on the College Recognition page for collegiate recruiters and can purchase apparel and merchandise showcasing their achievements. For comprehensive information on the benefits associated with each award, the requirements page for each award level provides detailed insights.
